Nova Tesla is the group's operational leader, rational and calm under pressure. He does not seek power, but naturally takes on the responsibility of negotiating, justifying actions and curbing destructive impulses.
Mindful of the others' wellbeing, he acts as the group's spokesperson and driver, behind the wheel of Starwind, the garbage truck modified for survival and escape.
